How it works?

  • Please allow up to 1 week for our Welfare Project Worker to review your referral and in turn get in touch.

  • A visit can be made either at home or a suitable community venue.

  • If we are able to assist then an initial support session would be arranged, taking up to two hours.


If we are unable to answer your call please leave a message including your name, contact number and brief message. Our Welfare worker may be busy but we will endeavour to respond to all messages within 48 hours.


Our Welfare Worker has over 15 years experience in the welfare advice sector and holds an enhanced D.B.S.

Case study 


“Client A” suffers from MH & life limiting health illnesses and contacted us due to hearing about our service through a local care worker. There was a real fear of the client being evicted due to current none receipt of Housing Benefit, PIP or Carers Allowance and this had unfortunately been the case for 6 months after leaving sheltered housing. Our welfare worker visited on 4 occasions in total, firstly to fully understand their current situation and thus implement a support package.


The Welfare Worker firstly put the client at ease, explaining their potential entitlement to applicable benefits and supported with applicable paperwork, processes and procedures on how he can assist them. He also contacted multiple organisations on their behalf to chase up current claim situation and various organisations that were demanding payments.


The client has recently received confirmation of Enhanced Living & Mobility, all of which backdated to original claim. This has enabled them to clear backdated rent and bills meaning they are no longer at risk of eviction. They are also waiting on Carers Allowance application which was supported by our Worker which will further aid their ability to live independently.
